Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 30, 2026

This policy explains what WhereFiber collects, why, and what rights you have. WhereFiber is operated by WhereFiber, Sweden ("we", "us"). We can be reached at contact@wherefiber.com.

1. What we collect

Information you give us. If you enter an address or ZIP code to check availability, we use it to return results. If you email us, we receive whatever you write.

Information collected automatically. Standard web server and analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, browser and device type, and timestamps.

We do not ask for your name, phone number, date of birth or payment details, and we do not operate accounts or logins.

2. Address and ZIP code lookups

An address you enter is used to query broadband availability data and return results to you. We do not sell address lookups to internet providers, and we do not pass your address to a provider unless you choose to click through to that provider's own website, at which point their privacy policy applies.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies for three purposes:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics and affiliate cookies does not prevent you using this site.

4. Third parties

These parties may process data when you use the site:

We do not sell personal information.

5. Legal basis and retention

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interest for analytics and security, and consent where consent is required for non-essential cookies. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting; aggregate analytics may be retained longer.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other US states with comparable laws may have the right to know what is collected and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any right, email contact@wherefiber.com. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

7. Children

This site is intended for adults arranging internet service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. International transfers

We are based in Sweden and our service providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we hold. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.

10. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
